50-70 Training Season

FAQ

Q: What is the 50-70 Fall Training?

A: The 50-70 training is a competitive training program to help our players going into the intermediate division. The diamond is bigger, the rules are different, and fundamentals of the game are changing. This is a great opportunity to bridge your player from Majors to Intermediate GOLD division.

Q: What is GOLD division?

A: The GOLD Division is a District 57 sponsored division to help Little Leaguers play a higher competitive level of play. This division is about training and developing skills

Q: If you tryout and make the team for fall are you on the team for the spring?

A: No, This season is the bridge to learn those skills before the spring season. There are additional try outs for spring and a committee/player determination for the district all-star team for the post season.

Q: what happens if I do not make the “Gold” team?

A: As much as we would like everyone to make the team, space is limited. If you do not make the “Gold” team we are working on a house team that plays rec baseball through the fall season. Here they can still learn the skills of the bigger diamond, new rules, and fundamentals but requirements on commitment are not as stringent.

Q: How old do you need to be tryout for the GOLD Training Season?

A: We offer the program to all 12 year olds that going to be league age 13 in the next season of Little League. 11 year olds can try out and make the team but as a 12 year old in the next season will be required to play majors.

Q: Will you offer a competitive fall season for any other ages?

A: Yes, we are working with the other leagues in our district to put together a competitive track for 9-12 year olds. More info will be emailed for those programs as it becomes available.
